One of the most enthralling and closely contested regattas on the international sailing calendar, the Rolex TP52 World Championship demands excellence and a high level of performance from supremely talented crews competing on 52-foot (15.85 metre) yachts. Considered a benchmark in inshore yacht racing, the pinnacle event of the TP52 class season makes for dramatic, captivating racing. In 2021, 10 teams from seven countries gathered in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, for the highlight of the annual 52 Super Series. After eight races held over five days, Takashi Okura’s Sled team from the United States emerged victorious to claim a well-deserved title.
